Nigerian rapper and social media personality, Speed Darlington, has issued a warning to comedian and content creator Carter Efe ahead of their much-anticipated celebrity boxing bout in Lagos.

The entertainers are scheduled to square off on October 1, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, as part of the ‘Chaos in the Ring’ boxing series.

Speed Darlington has continued to build anticipation for the encounter with provocative remarks aimed at Carter Efe as the two prepare to settle their rivalry inside the ring.

The bout will be Speed Darlington’s second appearance in the celebrity boxing circuit after he suffered defeat to singer Portable in 2025.

Carter Efe, meanwhile, comes into the contest after securing a unanimous-decision victory over Portable in May 2026.

The three-round bout saw all three judges score the contest 30-27 in Carter Efe’s favour.

Tensions between Carter Efe and Speed Darlington have also escalated during the promotional campaign for their upcoming fight.

At their official press conference, the pair were involved in a heated confrontation and had to be separated by security personnel.

Their October 1 encounter will mark the first time the two entertainers face each other in the boxing ring, following a rivalry that has largely unfolded on social media and through their promotional appearances.

The ‘Chaos in the Ring’ event is also scheduled to feature other bouts, including the WBO African Light Heavyweight Continental Championship clash between Nigerian boxer Godday Appah and Ghana’s Seth ‘Freezy Macbones’ Gyimah.
