Frontline Disc jockey Kudirat Gbemisola, also known as DJ Kulet, has revealed that she was a sex hawker in Lagos before giving her life to Jesus Christ.
The first female DJ in Nigeria, who acquired a new mansion in Surulere area of Lagos recently, made this revealation while giving her testimony at the Cornerstone Anoited Church of Christ at the weekend.
According to her; “Thank you Jesus! O loud gan (It is very loud). Awon Orun ma gbo mi (Heaven will hear me), she laughed.
“Pastor, I learn’t from your preachings that you don’t have to wait until something is done before you give thanks.
“I came to Cornerstones sleeping around. Nigba ti mo nse ise asewo (When I was into prostitution) I was very popular,” and she laughed again.
“I was roaming the streets of Lagos homeless and I rented a room in a ‘face-me-i-slap-you’ apartment. This is my room and that’s the toilet and they always smoke ‘igbo’ hemps there.
“From there, my cheap ashewo work come elivate me. Nah man pay for the one room o.
“Until Jesus Christ elivated me to a room and parlour. My DJ don dey pay but the landlord frustrated me and for two good years I didn’t have a toitlet. I was going around to ‘shit’. I also come to church then to shit.
“The church’s gate has padlock and if the shit hold me well, I shit in a bucket inside my old Sienna and I will cry but around this time last, God gave me my own house in Surulere.”
