President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday held a closed-door meeting with top Senate leaders at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, in a discussion focused on urgent national issues.

The Senate delegation was led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and included Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, and Senate Minority Leader Abba Moro.

Other senators at the meeting were Orji Uzor Kalu (Abia North), Adamu Aliero (Kebbi Central), Danjuma Goje (Gombe Central), and Abdul Ningi (Bauchi Central).
