Nigerian rapper Zlatan has addressed claims made by an upcoming artiste who accused him and a nightclub of orchestrating an act of intimidation against him.

The controversy began after the artiste took to X alleging that bouncers at Clubsixseven were instructed to harass him for reasons he did not understand.

“We no Dey find trouble, but clubsixseven and Zlatan needs to explain what I did that made them send bouncers to bully me,” he tweeted.

Responding to the accusation, Zlatan distanced himself completely from the incident, revealing that he even made efforts to personally contact the artiste after hearing about the claims online.

“I took my time to reach out to some people to be able to talk to you and understand what happened yesterday. So I’m surprised this tweet is still here and you’re allowing a false narrative to run. But I guess that’s what you wanted all along!”

The music star also insisted that he had never met the artiste before and had no reason to target him.

“Not only did I have nothing to do with what you experienced yesterday, but God as my witness I DON’T KNOW YOU. You might have been around people that know me, or followed people to see me but I genuinely don’t have a clue who you are and I already explained that to you today on the phone.”

The incident has continued to generate buzz on social media, with many users debating both sides of the story.
