Content creator and influencer Amarachi Amusi, better known as Ashmusy, has shared that repeated heartbreaks and failed relationships led her to freeze her eggs in order to preserve her chances of becoming a mother someday.
Speaking about the decision, Ashmusy explained that she places a high value on motherhood and did not want uncertainty in her love life to affect that dream. She said she had been in relationships she strongly believed would end in marriage, but things eventually fell apart.
“I really wanted to secure my future as a mother. Motherhood is very important to me, and I want to be sure that I will become a mum in the future, no matter what happens,” she said.
According to the influencer, the disappointments she experienced made her realise that finding the right partner could take more time than she initially expected. She added that many men often appear serious at first but later show signs of emotional immaturity and lack of readiness for marriage.
Ashmusy said those experiences pushed her to take control of her future by freezing her eggs and giving herself peace of mind.
“That made me understand that finding the right partner might take longer than I expected. Because of that, I decided to secure my future and play safe,” she said.
