Singer Niniola has moved fans with an emotional Instagram post dedicated to her late husband, Michael Ndika, also known as Big Mike.
The music star shared a throwback photo of the two of them together, opening up about the deep pain she continues to feel following his passing. She described him as her closest companion and strongest pillar of support.
In the heartfelt post, Niniola revealed that she still finds herself waiting and hoping he would walk through the door, while reflecting on the many roles he played in her life — not only as her husband, but also as her best friend, confidant, business partner, and source of happiness.
She described him as “the air I breathe,” adding that she is struggling to cope with his death and the emptiness he left behind.
She wrote that they were inseparable, noting that he always wanted her by his side and that she often looked forward to his return whenever he went out.
Niniola added that although she considers herself a loner, her husband was everything she needed, describing him as “one in a million” who touched her life in many ways before his passing.
