Andy Robertson has completed his free transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.

The full-back brought an end to a nine-year spell at Liverpool when his contract expired.

Robertson was linked with a January switch to Tottenham, but a move failed to come to fruition as the Reds failed to bring in a replacement.

However, Spurs have since confirmed the 32-year-old’s arrival, despite late interest from Serie A giants Juventus.

Widely regarded as one of the best left-backs in the world under Jurgen Klopp, the Scotland captain brings bags of experience and a winning mentality with him, having won two Premier League titles, the Champions League, FA Cup and two League Cups.

Robertson becomes Spurs’ first summer signing, but he won’t be the last as the club look to ensure they avoid another relegation scrap and back-to-back 17th place finishes.

The north London side secured their Premier League safety on the final day of the season, finishing two points clear of rivals West Ham with a 1-0 home victory Everton.
