Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a massive move for Michael Olise, with plans to submit a bid worth €150 million (£130 million) for the Bayern Munich star.
The proposed transfer is said to depend on the outcome of the club’s upcoming presidential election, where current president Florentino Pérez is expected to retain his position against challenger Enrique Riquelme.
Ahead of the vote, both candidates have reportedly highlighted ambitious transfer plans. Riquelme has spoken about pursuing Erling Haaland from Manchester City, while Pérez has hinted at securing a marquee signing to strengthen the squad.
Although the Real Madrid president has not publicly named any target, reports suggest Olise has emerged as the club’s preferred option should Pérez secure another term.
The French international has enjoyed a remarkable rise since joining Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace in 2024. His performances have established him among Europe’s most highly rated attackers, and he has played a key role in Bayern’s recent domestic success under manager Vincent Kompany.
Olise is also expected to be an important figure for France national football team at the upcoming World Cup, further boosting his profile on the international stage.
Despite the reported interest, Bayern Munich are unlikely to entertain offers for the winger, whose contract runs until 2029. The club’s honorary president, Uli Hoeness, has previously described Olise as “unsellable,” underlining the German club’s determination to keep him.
Adding to the speculation, prospective Real Madrid manager José Mourinho was reportedly seen watching Olise during Bayern Munich’s victory over VfB Stuttgart in the German Cup final, further fuelling transfer rumours.
