Afrobeats star Davido has confidently thrown himself into the ongoing debate over who has the strongest catalogue of hit songs in Africa.
The singer reacted after a social media user compared his music catalogue with that of fellow Nigerian artiste Olamide, insisting that Davido would comfortably win a hit-for-hit battle between the two.
The user wrote: “Davido is clearing Olamide hit for hit. I know we joke about Davido all the time, but it’s really not even close.”
Another user then made an even bigger claim, arguing that no African artiste could match Davido song for song.
Davido appeared ready to accept the challenge, replying with a short but confident response.
“BRING IT ON,” he wrote.
