VeryDarkMan has reacted to the loss of about 13,000 followers following his recent public disagreement with Peter Okoye, dismissing the figure as insignificant.
The social media activist said he had anticipated a much bigger drop in his following because of his position in the controversy involving the singer.
According to VeryDarkMan, he was prepared for as many as one or two million followers to abandon his page, but he said the reported loss of 13,000 did not bother him.
He also suggested that many content creators who are currently enjoying attention over the controversy may eventually fade away, while he believes his own relevance will remain because of the value he provides.
He said:
“They said I lost 13K followers. I thought I would have lost up to one million followers by now or two million. What are the 13K people doing for me? Fck all of you! After this topic, most of these content creators cease to exist, but VDM will be here because VDM brings value.”
