Nigerian singer Shallipoppi has opened up about his attitude toward nightlife, revealing that he hardly goes to clubs or parties unless he is being paid to attend.
Speaking during a recent podcast, the music star said many people may assume he enjoys clubbing because of his celebrity status, but explained that he only shows up when it is a paid appearance.
According to Shallipoppi, spending money on drinks and entertainment at a club makes little business sense when the same venues are willing to pay him for his presence.
He said:
“I don’t like going to clubs or parties unless they’re paying me for a Club Appearance.
“Any club you see me in, just know I’m getting paid to be there that night. You can’t be making more from me. Buying drinks and all that..”
