Popular TikTok streamer Peller has shared his experience after seeing fellow content creator DJ Chicken in prison, days after regaining his freedom following his own detention.
Peller, who was recently released after being remanded over an altercation with the Nigerian police, said the prison experience made him realise that fame means nothing behind bars.
According to him, he saw DJ Chicken in prison and was surprised by how calm and humble the controversial entertainer appeared.
“I saw DJ Chicken in prison, he was so humble. There is no celebrity in prison, you will face the real life there,” Peller said.
He also used the opportunity to caution people against disrespecting law enforcement, stressing that social media fans cannot save anyone from the consequences of their actions.
“Na reality e go go face. Respect Police. Na only you go suffer am, none of your fans will be there,” he added.
Peller’s comments come after DJ Chicken was remanded in prison pending the fulfilment of his bail conditions in his ongoing legal case.
