Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Anthony Gordon in a deal worth around £70million, with Newcastle United said to have accepted the offer.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the package is structured at an initial £60.6million, with add-ons expected to take the total fee up to £70million.
Gordon is expected to travel to Barcelona for a medical and final contract signing as early as tomorrow, bringing an end to speculation over his future.
Newcastle had also been in talks with Bayern Munich, who were strongly interested in the 25-year-old winger. The German club were reportedly close to agreeing personal terms, but no final deal was reached between both sides.
The English winger has recently found game time limited at Newcastle, having been an unused substitute in their last four matches as the club prepares for a potential departure.
