Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has jokingly announced that she is searching for a wife for her son, Nwachukwu, as she celebrated his birthday.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Bianca shared a series of photos, including recent moments with her son and a throwback image from his school days.
Celebrating Nwachukwu, whom she described as her special “June gift,” the minister playfully revealed that applications were being accepted from ladies interested in joining the family.
“Happy Birthday, Nwachukwu Jordan Odumegwu-Ojukwu, my awesome June gift, born at beginning of my favorite month,” she wrote.
Adding a humorous twist to the birthday message, Bianca said a list was already being prepared for “interested, hopeful and potential brides,” noting that early applicants might receive a waiver on bride price, subject to family approval.
She also joked about her reputation as a protective mother-in-law before praying for her son’s continued safety and success.
“May God continue to guide and protect you. Wish you were here!”
Nwachukwu is one of the three children Bianca had with her late husband, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
