Nollywood star and podcast host Biola Adebayo has come under fire after hosting convicted actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, on her Talk To B podcast.
The interview, which has rapidly circulated online, has stirred anger among many Nigerians who believe the platform was used to soften the narrative around the actor’s conviction for a sexual offence involving a minor.
During the discussion, Baba Ijesha dismissed the incident as a “setup,” insisting he was wrongly portrayed. He also claimed parts of the situation were connected to a movie project, a statement that has drawn widespread criticism.
He further revisited his past relationship with Iyabo Ojo, alleging that she once left her children, Festus and Priscilla, in his care while they were younger.
Iyabo Ojo has strongly refuted the claim, warning him to stop dragging her children into the conversation and threatening legal action if he continues.
The interview has since sparked intense reactions on social media, particularly on X, where users condemned both the actor and the host.
