Charles Okocha has rubbished Portable’s claim that he bit him during their celebrity boxing rematch, insisting the allegation is completely false.
The much-publicised rematch was held on July 31 at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos. Charles was declared the winner after Portable was disqualified for walking out of the ring during the fight.
After the bout, Portable accused the Nollywood actor of biting him on the back and gripping his neck, adding that he should never have accepted the fight.
Addressing the accusation in an interview with TVC Entertainment, Charles said the claim made no sense because he wore a mouth guard throughout the contest.
He maintained that Portable was only trying to justify his defeat and advised the singer to move on.
“Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back. I was wearing a mouth guard; how is that even possible? He was just lying. I would rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies. Have you seen how Portable’s skin looks? Hell no, I wouldn’t do that. He should just accept defeat,” he said.
