A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has granted social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, bail in the sum of N10 million.

The court, however, ordered that she remain in custody until she satisfies the conditions attached to the bail.

Justice D.I. Dipeolu delivered the ruling on Tuesday during proceedings in the case instituted against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Blessing CEO was arraigned on allegations bordering on obtaining N36 million by false pretence and stealing. She pleaded not guilty when the charges were read in court.

During the proceedings, her counsel requested that she be allowed to remain in EFCC custody while efforts were made to meet the bail requirements.

The prosecution opposed the request, stating that the EFCC detention facility was already overcrowded and unable to continue holding the defendant.

After hearing arguments from both parties, the judge ordered that she be transferred to a correctional facility pending fulfilment of her bail conditions.

The case was adjourned until June 22, 2026, for continuation of trial.
