A Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Apo, Abuja, has ordered the final forfeiture of assets linked to businesswoman and Oceangate Engineering Oil & Gas Ltd founder, Aisha Achimugu, to the Federal Government.

Justice Jude Onwugbuzie delivered the ruling on Thursday after granting an application filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which argued that the assets were connected to Achimugu.

The forfeited assets include jewellery valued at N4.645 billion, 11 vehicles worth N4.293 billion, $50,000 in cash and N30 million.

Achimugu was arrested by the EFCC at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, in April 2025 over allegations of money laundering.

In a separate case, a Federal High Court in Abuja also ordered the final forfeiture of $13 million linked to Achimugu and her company, Oceangate Engineering Oil and Gas Ltd.
