Cristiano Ronaldo has officially married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez, bringing their nearly 10-year relationship into a new phase.
The Portugal and Al-Nassr captain exchanged vows with Rodriguez in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal. Their children were among the family members present at the intimate occasion.
Ronaldo made the marriage public on Tuesday by posting a picture of their wedding rings on Instagram, alongside the simple caption: “C❤️G”.
The footballer’s representative later confirmed the ceremony, describing it as a private and intimate family affair. The representative said the couple’s children were among those who attended.
The marriage ceremony has also influenced Ronaldo’s preparations for the upcoming season, as the forward was absent from Al-Nassr’s training camp during the pre-season period.
Ronaldo is consequently expected to sit out Al-Nassr’s opening Saudi Pro League fixture against Al-Fateh and the club’s King’s Cup meeting with Al-Diriyah.
