Davido has weighed in on the growing controversy between Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and NURTW National President MC Oluomo over the suspension of the union’s activities in the state.
The disagreement started after Governor Adeleke ordered the suspension of NURTW operations in Osun, citing recurring violence linked to the union. The decision, according to the state government, was aimed at maintaining law and order.
MC Oluomo, however, opposed the move, arguing that no state governor has the legal authority to suspend the activities of the transport union.
The comment caught Davido’s attention, prompting the singer to publicly defend his uncle. Taking to his social media page, he tagged MC Oluomo and wrote:
“@kingmcoluomo dem say u Dey game … I doubt lol look ur mirror.”
The post quickly gained traction online, with many interpreting it as Davido’s response to MC Oluomo’s criticism and a clear show of support for Governor Adeleke’s decision.
