Former Nigerian international and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) defender, Godwin Okpara on Sunday, celebrated his 54th birthday.
Opara, who born in Ogbaku, Imo State in 1972, won 18 caps for the Nigerian senior national team. He also featured as overage player for the Olympic team in year 2000.
Before his senior national team forays, Allanball as he is also called was outstanding at the 1989 Under FIFA World Cup.
At the club level, the rock solid erstwhile defender starred for the likes Beerschot, Strasbourg, Paris Saint Germain and Standard Liege to mention a few. Okpara played local football with defunct Obanta United of Ijebu Ode.
