Frontline filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, have allegedly received a court Summons from First Bank, for failing to repay 5 billion naira loan, he borrowed from the Bank to fund his Anikulapo Movie.
According to the report, First bank have taken a legal action against Kunle Afolayan who borrowed 5 billion naira to produce his movie titled “Anikulapo” in 2022, & he signed an agreements to pay back the loans in less than three years, however it was reported that Kunle only paid half of the loan after Netflix purchased the movie and ever since then, they have not heard from him, and he has been unreachable,
The report claimed the court summons has been issued, and Kunle will be in court soon, this was revealed by one of his close associates some days back.
