Passengers flying with Air Peace at London Gatwick Airport have been left stranded for hours, with many complaining of missing luggage, poor communication and lack of basic assistance from the airline.

Among those affected is Nollywood actress Funke Akindele, who took to social media to express frustration over the situation, saying travellers had been waiting since early morning with no clear updates or support.

“Air Peace, what is going on? Since 7AM at London Gatwick Airport and it’s almost 4PM no bags, no hotel, no proper updates. Passengers are stranded. People are tired and hungry. Release the luggage and take care of your passengers NOW,” she wrote.

Several passengers also reported that the prolonged delay has left them uncomfortable and exhausted, with some saying they were not provided accommodation, refreshments, or adequate information on the status of their baggage.

As frustration continued to mount, affected travellers called on the airline to urgently intervene, release their luggage, and provide proper care and communication to those impacted.

At the time of filing this report, Air Peace has not released an official statement addressing the incident.
