Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has opened up about reaching a place of forgiveness, saying she has decided to let go of the hurt caused by those who made her life difficult in the past.
The actress, who previously appealed for financial assistance while battling health challenges, appeared healthier in a recent video as she reflected on her journey. She explained that she no longer wants to carry resentment and has chosen instead to pray for the people she believes wronged her.
Halima said she hopes God will change their hearts, remove every form of evil and manipulation from their lives, and lead them onto a better path. She also made it clear that while she has forgiven them, she does not want anyone interfering with her life again.
“I forgive you today. And it shall be so. And I call judgment to that. That forgiveness is judgment. If you don’t leave me, the judgment will be on you. Leave me alone. From today, I forgive you. I forgive you. I forgive you.
“May God touch your hearts to leave the evil things you are doing. May God Almighty change your minds. May God Almighty soften your spirit from that evilness that is in you.
“As for me, I have forgiven you people. And if I see any of you try to stop me, stop me in any way, believe you me, you will not like it.
“I came all the way from Abuja to Lagos just to say this for you. I forgive you. I ask you to go down on your knees. The things of the world you have, what more do you want? You die and leave it.
“I’m not ashamed to forgive you. Do not feel purpose, ego. It brings you down. I’m not in that low vibration again. My vibration is too high for me to come down.
“I forgive you. Leave me alone. May God bless you.”
