Veteran Nollywood actor Harry B has appealed to members of the Nigerian film industry to rally around actress Maureen Okpoko as she continues to battle a long-term vision problem.
In a video message, Harry B urged actors, actresses and other well-meaning Nigerians to support Okpoko financially, expressing optimism that she could recover her sight if she receives the medical treatment she needs.
Making the appeal, he said:
«“My fellow Nollywood actors and actresses, let’s support our colleague, Actress Maureen Okpoko, who lost her sight years ago. She can see again with the right treatment; all she needs is our support.”»
Maureen Okpoko, a respected Nollywood actress, has previously spoken publicly about losing her sight and has appealed for help to enable her access the medical care required for her treatment.
