Wumi Toriola has broken her silence following the buzz around her age triggered by a viral clip involving influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa.
The video, which surfaced from an event on April 25, 2026, captured a brief but noticeable moment between the actress and the content creator. While Toriola was interacting with Ini Edo and Eniola Ajao, Enioluwa approached and addressed her simply by her first name, a move she didn’t take lightly.
She immediately questioned the familiarity in Yoruba, making it clear she expected a more respectful form of address. Realising the tension, Enioluwa quickly apologised and switched to calling her “Aunty Wunmi,” adding playful remarks that eased the situation and drew laughter from those around.
As the clip spread online, conversations shifted toward her age, prompting Toriola to respond via her Instagram story. She dismissed the speculation, pointing out that she completed her secondary school education in 2003 and subtly encouraged people to calculate her age themselves, while noting that her youthful appearance runs in her family.
“I saw people debating my age. Nor be everybody ise dey gbo o, na all my family get baby face. I finished sec school in 2003 (I repeat o do the maths) 16 nor dey enter uni that time o,”
