The estranged wife of London-based Nigerian man Ugo has reacted after their marriage ended amid allegations of cheating and a messy online fallout.
Ugo had earlier accused her on X (formerly Twitter) of infidelity despite claiming he supported her education. He later announced that the marriage had collapsed, alleging she was deported to Nigeria after she supposedly tried to frame him with domestic violence claims.
In her response, she said she has been under severe emotional strain since the breakup, insisting she only wants peace and distance from the situation.
“For the past several months, I have quietly carried the weight of intense emotional distress… Since the end of my marriage, I have tried to move forward in peace,” she said, adding that she has instead faced pressure to return to a relationship she had already left.
She firmly denied the allegations against her, stating, “I never cheated on my former spouse—Ugo (Parklins Ifeanyichukwu) at any time during our marriage. These claims are entirely fabricated.”
She also condemned the circulation of her private photos and videos online, describing it as traumatic and said her lawyers would be taking legal action against those responsible for defamation.
She added that she would allow the legal process to take its course while warning the public against fake accounts impersonating her.
