American Twitch star Kai Cenat has revealed that he tried to help Nigerian comedian and streamer Carter Efe secure a United States visa to attend the 2026 edition of Streamer University, but the effort was unsuccessful.
Speaking during the opening ceremony of Streamer University, which kicked off on Wednesday, Kai acknowledged Carter Efe while addressing the students and explained that he had hoped the Nigerian content creator would be part of the programme.
According to Kai, despite his efforts to support Carter’s visa application, it was ultimately not approved.
“I was trying to help Carter Efe with his visa, but unfortunately it didn’t work out.”
Carter Efe later confirmed Kai’s statement during his own livestream, expressing gratitude to the Twitch star for assisting him throughout the application process.
He disclosed that Kai had sent him an official invitation letter to present at the U.S. Embassy in support of his visa request, but the application was still denied.
