The family of late singer Destiny Boy has opened up about the difficulties they have faced since his death, revealing that they have been unable to access his bank account because they cannot unlock his mobile phone.
Speaking about their ordeal, the singer’s father and sister said the phone contains vital information that could help the family manage his affairs, but every attempt to gain access to it has failed.
According to them, they even took the device to Computer Village in Lagos, hoping technicians would bypass the security, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
“If we were able to unlock Destiny’s phone, our lives would have been better by now. We took the phone to Computer Village, but they couldn’t unlock it,” they said.
The family further claimed that Destiny Boy’s wife no longer knew the phone’s password because the late singer had changed it after discovering she had been making withdrawals from his bank account.
“Even Destiny’s wife doesn’t know the password. She used to know it, but when she started making withdrawals from his bank account, he changed it.
“As a result, we have also been unable to access the money in his bank account,” they added.
