Actress and media personality Nancy Isime has opened up about her thoughts on parenthood, revealing that her love for children sometimes makes her question whether bringing them into the world is the best decision.
Speaking during a recent conversation, Isime explained that her perspective is shaped by the harsh realities many people face daily. According to her, life can be incredibly challenging, and she often wonders why anyone who truly cares about children would willingly expose them to such struggles.
“You know the craziest thing about loving children? I feel like if you really love children, you wouldn’t want to bring them into the world,” she said.
The actress pointed to the pressures and difficulties that come with everyday living, suggesting that many people regularly battle circumstances that leave them emotionally and mentally exhausted.
“Are you not suffering today? Have you not seen shege today? Is earth not ghetto? Are you not going through a lot? Don’t you wish some days that you were not born?” she asked.
Despite those concerns, Isime noted that hardship is an unavoidable part of life and not something any individual can completely escape.
When asked whether her views meant she intended not to have children, she maintained that every generation ultimately faces its own challenges.
“No, everybody has to suffer. They will come and suffer their own. They’re not going to escape it,” she said.
