Nollywood actor IK Ogbonna is gradually returning to the spotlight after stepping away from work following the death of his close friend, Alexx Ekubo.
The actor has resumed professional activities after a period of mourning and reflection. His relationship with Alexx went beyond their careers, as the two shared a close friendship with fashion designer Yomi Casual also part of their circle.
In a recent post, IK opened up about how difficult life has been since Alexx’s passing and announced his decision to get back to work.
“Since Alexx passed, life has felt different. It’s been a lot to process, and I know I haven’t been fully present. I believe, in different ways, we’ve all been trying to find our rhythm again. I just want to say thank you—for the patience, the understanding, and for holding things down. Now it’s time to find our feet again, get focused and get back to work. There’s a lot ahead of us, and I’m ready. Let’s go”
His return to the set signals a gradual return to normalcy for the actor following the loss of someone who played an important role in his life. While the grief remains, IK is now focused on moving forward and continuing with his career.
