Nollywood actress Sandra Okunuzuwa has debunked viral rumours alleging that she is pregnant for her colleague, Daniel Etim-Effiong, describing the claim as false and shocking.

The speculation began circulating online before spreading widely, prompting questions and messages sent to the actress even while she was on a film set.

Speaking in an interview, Sandra said she was surprised when she first came across the report, stressing that there is no personal relationship between her and the actor beyond professional film work.

She explained that her first time working with Daniel Etim-Effiong was on one of her projects, adding that they have only collaborated on set and have no close relationship outside work.

According to her, the rumour appeared to have started from vague social media posts using initials, which later snowballed into assumptions linking her to the actor.

“Do you see any pregnancy, what is that about? It’s so weird because the first time I even got to film with Daniel was on my project… we did two movies and we even have another one coming up,” she said.

Sandra added that she was on set when she received a message about the allegation and initially found it amusing before realising it had gained traction online.

She insisted that her relationship with Daniel is strictly professional, noting that they do not socialise outside work or maintain any personal connection.

“Me and Daniel, we are colleagues… it’s just the job. We don’t even hang out, you don’t know me, I don’t know you,” she said.

The actress firmly denied the pregnancy rumour, stating that it has no basis in reality and urging the public to disregard it.
