Influencer and socialite Caramel Plug has responded to actress Anita Joseph’s public apology after accusing her of using one of her photos without permission.
The controversy began after Caramel alleged that Anita edited her own face onto one of Caramel’s pictures. In response, Anita explained that the image was created by an AI designer she had hired and insisted she was unaware it was based on Caramel’s photo.
Apologising, Anita wrote:
“Chai, my AI boy said it was an inspiration from AI; this guy wan implicate me, chim. Sorry baby. I can’t even be cut up in this kind of mess. I’m so sorry. But you look great. He put my face and my hair, chai this boy oh.”
She added:
“Me wey be picture and clothes myself, chai. You see why I don’t like this AI things. Just negodi. Na where I wan help person promote him work.”
Reacting to the apology, Caramel made it clear she was not convinced by Anita’s explanation.
She wrote:
“Ensure your imaginary AI BOY does better next time. Secondly, I’m not your baby, I really don’t know you.”
