The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has begun the process for candidates who wish to make changes to their selected institution or programme after the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The board confirmed the development in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, noting that the correction of data portal has now been opened for eligible candidates.
According to the statement, “Candidates wishing to change their institution or programme of choice may now proceed to do so by visiting any of the Board’s approved CBT centres.”
JAMB urged candidates nationwide to ensure that all modifications are carried out strictly at accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres in order to guarantee proper processing and prevent errors.
The examination body also announced that the printing of original result slips for the 2026 UTME will begin on Monday, May 18, 2026.
“Furthermore, the printing of the original 2026 UTME result slip will commence on Monday, 18th May, 2026,” the statement added.
