Lizzy Anjorin has responded to Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of her longtime rival, Iyabo Ojo, following Priscilla’s reaction to comments made about her attendance at music executive Soso Soberekon’s wedding.
The exchange began after Lizzy questioned why Priscilla and her mother attended the wedding. In response, Priscilla took to social media to defend herself, saying she is no longer a child but a wife and mother who is capable of making her own decisions. She also insisted she would never attend an event without an invitation and revealed that she was preparing legal action against Lizzy.
Priscilla wrote: “I’m not a child, I am a wife and a mom and I’m capable of making my own decisions. I will never go where I am not invited. I have been quiet about this lady because she is clearly mentally ill and I am building my case. That’s all I’ll say.”
Reacting in a lengthy video, Lizzy challenged Priscilla to sue her and made fresh allegations about her child, insisting she wanted a DNA test and would present her own doctor if necessary.
Lizzy said: “I challenge you, let’s go to court. You have never missed your period, you have never carried any child. Nothing can stop me from asking for DNA of that child, which I will bring my doctor. I’m not Naira Marley, I’m not Mohbad’s family. I’m Iyabo Ojo’s karma.”
She also revisited an old controversy, claiming Iyabo Ojo and Esabod once demanded a DNA test for her daughter, Florida, and that she complied. According to Lizzy, she is now asking Iyabo Ojo and Priscilla to do the same.
The actress went on to criticise Priscilla’s claim that she could make her own decisions, questioned several aspects of her personal life, and insisted that she would continue speaking about Iyabo Ojo despite any legal action.
Lizzy maintained that because Iyabo Ojo had previously made her family a public topic, she now considered Iyabo’s family to be open to public scrutiny as well. She added that even if the matter ends up in court, she would continue expressing her views while avoiding names where necessary.
