Nigerian man identified as Ugo has announced the end of his marriage after accusing his wife of infidelity, despite what he described as years of financial and emotional sacrifices since they got married.
According to posts shared on X, Ugo and his wife tied the knot in 2023 and welcomed their first child in 2024.
During her pregnancy, Ugo regularly documented their relationship on social media through vlogs. In one of the videos, he spoke about his intention to give her a comfortable life and also revealed plans to develop a pregnancy app specifically for her use.

The couple later relocated to the United Kingdom, where Ugo said he continued to support her by paying her school fees while also taking full responsibility for the household financially.
After the birth of their child, he reportedly bought her a car as a push gift and also developed an app dedicated to her and their baby. At the time, their relationship was widely admired online, with many social media users describing them as a loving couple.
However, things took a different turn on April 8, 2026, when Ugo publicly accused his wife of cheating on him with another man inside their home while he was working to pay her tuition.
He further alleged that even after the incident, she still expected him to continue funding her education.
“It’s crazy you’re in my house, sleeping with another man, but I’m in London working my ass out to pay your fucking school fees in GBP?? No! Send your tuition to that man. He’s man enough to sleep with another man’s wife, he should match it with his funds. Divorce finalised, gtf!!” he wrote.
The situation escalated after an X user identified as Funmi questioned why he brought the issue online, advising him to forgive his wife and describing the situation as “the work of the devil.”
In response, Ugo said he initially did not intend to make the matter public but claimed his in-laws were not condemning her actions and were still insisting he continue paying her school fees.
He also alleged that he knows the man involved and claimed the individual has been actively viewing his social media pages.
According to him, private messages between them showed the man telling his wife he missed her and could not wait to see her again, while she allegedly replied, “as you should.”
“Because her family didn’t see any wrong in it, but have the audacity to ask me about her tuition. Also I know the man, and his stupid ass is on my Instagram and X viewing my posts. Talmbout, ‘I miss you, when am I seeing you again’ while she responds ‘as you should’. Toh!” he added.
The post has since sparked widespread reactions online, with users debating relationship expectations, financial responsibility in marriage, and resurfacing previous posts where Ugo had criticized another man in a similar situation.
