Manchester City saw their Premier League title push suffer a setback after a dramatic 3-3 draw against Everton at Goodison Park, a result that leaves the race still alive but increasingly difficult for Pep Guardiola’s side.

The match started with City in control for long stretches of the first half, and their pressure paid off in the 43rd minute when Jeremy Doku curled a brilliant left-footed effort from the edge of the box into the far corner, leaving Jordan Pickford with no chance.

Everton fought back after the break, leveling in the 68th minute through substitute Thierno Barry, who capitalized on a costly defensive mistake inside the box. Momentum then shifted as Jake O’Brien rose highest to head home from a James Garner corner, turning the game around for the hosts.

The Toffees looked to have sealed a famous win when Merlin Rohl set up Barry for a simple tap-in in the 81st minute, making it 3-1 and sending the home fans into celebration. But City responded quickly, with Erling Haaland pulling one back as he raced through the middle to finish calmly and reduce the deficit.

Deep into stoppage time, Doku produced another moment of brilliance, mirroring his earlier strike with a similar curling effort from the opposite side to complete his brace and rescue a 3-3 draw for City.

The result leaves City five points behind league leaders Arsenal, with Arsenal having three matches left and City still with four games to play, keeping the title race mathematically open but finely balanced.
