There is renewed attention online on media personality Frank Edoho after an old video of him speaking about how he deals with marital issues resurfaced amid ongoing social media rumours involving his marriage and singer Chike.

In the interview on “The Teju Babyface Deep Dive Podcast,” Edoho explained in simple terms that when he is upset with his wife, he does not resort to violence or shouting. Instead, he says he prefers to withdraw and stop communicating as a form of discipline.

He said:

“The best punishment I can give a woman is malice. I can stay in the same house with you, I will not talk to you… I am the king of malice… That is the beating that suffices physical ones. You want to beat a woman, then what? I don’t do that.”

What he meant is that instead of fighting physically or exchanging harsh words, he chooses silence and emotional distance when there is conflict at home.

The clip has now resurfaced as online conversations about his personal life continue, with rumours circulating but no confirmation from Edoho or any of the parties mentioned.

The video has also sparked mixed reactions, with some people arguing that silent treatment is unhealthy in relationships, while others say it is still better than physical violence.
