DJ Chicken’s elder sister has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his son, Seyi Tinubu, to forgive her brother following his arrest and ongoing court case.
In an emotional message, she said their family has endured hardship, revealing that both of their parents are dead and they have no relatives to rely on. She also claimed that her brother is not mentally stable and urged the President and his son to show compassion.
She wrote:
“I am the immediate elder sister of DJ Chicken. We don’t have both father and mother, neither do we have relatives.
“Please, I’m begging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his son, Seyi Tinubu, to please forgive my brother, DJ Chicken. My brother is not mentally stable. Please don’t be annoyed.”
DJ Chicken was arrested after posting a video in which he allegedly made statements perceived as threatening towards Seyi Tinubu.
He was later arraigned in court on charges including alleged threats against the President’s son, conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace, and offences under the Cybercrimes Act.
