Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has made it clear that his rift with Nigerian superstar Wizkid is far from over, dismissing any speculation about a possible reconciliation.
During a recent chat with Selah Meditate, Seun was asked if he and Wizkid had resolved their differences, but he quickly brushed off the suggestion.
“No, what are you talking about? Please let’s move on, I don’t want to talk about that.”
He maintained that nothing has changed on his end, stressing that the issue stems from remarks he believes were directed at his late father, Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti.
“My grudge for Wizkid is on for life because you don’t say things about my dad and think it’s fine. No, there is no coming back from that.”
His comments indicate that the tension between both artists remains firmly in place, despite ongoing curiosity from fans about whether they might one day settle their differences.
