Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez has weighed in on the ongoing dispute between fellow artiste T.I Blaze and music executive Dapper over the handling of the singer’s music catalogue and an alleged ₦1.2 billion discrepancy.
Reacting to the controversy in a post on X, Seyi Vibez made several claims about his past dealings with Dapper while mocking other artistes involved in similar disputes.
He wrote:
“Na Hilda Baci bbl all una catalogue money dey go 😂
“All of una Dey craze and una mama.
“Thank GOD say na me first Japa 😂.
“The rest na mumu.
“I chop Hilda baci food one day Na the same dapper give me the food almost k!ll me.
“Dem Dey use jazz the jazz no work on me.
“Am bigger than the whole dapper and his entire generation and my money was the money being used to sign all the artiste he signed since Chance Nahan! Allah walai
“I Made dapper”, he said.
Seyi Vibez’s comments came after T.I Blaze publicly raised questions about his agreement with Dapper and the role of Virgin Music in the deal.
T.I Blaze questioned how Virgin Music was receiving its share and sought clarification over what he described as an unexplained ₦1.2 billion.
The singer also claimed he had given the parties seven months to resolve the dispute privately, but said his contract had since expired.
According to him, more than ₦1 billion had been generated during the period. He additionally referred to an alleged $185,000 amount and called for the immediate release of his music catalogue.
