Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has urged women to be cautious about prophetic messages while also condemning the way online trolls target women over marriage, age and childbearing.

In a message shared on her Instagram page, the actress advised women who are praying for children, husbands or other personal desires to exercise discernment and avoid falling for false prophecies.

She stressed that people should be careful about the spiritual guidance they accept while seeking God’s intervention in their lives.

Nkechi also had a message for social media users who make hurtful comments about women, particularly those who repeatedly remind them that they are getting older, unmarried or without children.

According to the actress, such comments can be insensitive because outsiders may have no knowledge of the private struggles a woman could be facing.

She wrote:

“In everything you do in this life, and as a woman seeking the face of God for anything, be it a child, husband or anything at all, please and please beware of fake prophecy.

“And to you godforsaken demons called online trolls, take it easy on always reminding a woman she’s getting old and unmarried, childless ETC.

“You never know the battles they fight behind the scenes….May God grant us long life.”
