Mike Adeyemi, a former boyfriend of Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing, has revisited their past romance, revealing that he was left heartbroken after learning she had moved on while they were still discussing the possibility of reconciling.
Speaking during an interview with Yanga FM, Adeyemi claimed that Nkechi was still engaging him in conversations about repairing their relationship just days before she publicly unveiled Opeyemi Falegan as her new partner.
“Just two days before Nkechi Blessing unveiled her then new boyfriend, Opeyemi Falegan, she was still talking to me about fixing our relationship and working things out. It really hurt finding out she had another boyfriend all along.”
According to him, the revelation came as a shock because he was unaware she had already started a new relationship. He said he only found out after people began contacting him about the development.
“I was on my own when people started buzzing me about her new relationship and it still doesn’t stop me from interacting with her. I’m matured not to block her. She’s good in some ways.”
Despite the disappointment he felt at the time, Adeyemi said he has maintained a cordial relationship with the actress and has no intention of cutting off communication with her.
His remarks have sparked renewed discussion about the former couple’s relationship and the circumstances surrounding their breakup.
