Oba Femi has credited his church for helping turn his dream of becoming a WWE star into reality.
During a recent interview, the Nigerian wrestler spoke warmly about the support he received from his pastor and church members before relocating to the United States.
According to him, contrary to negative opinions people often have about Nigerian churches, his experience was completely different because his church stood firmly behind him.
“People always say Nigerian churches are bad or stingy but my pastor, Femi Paul, is a very good and respectable man,” he said.
Oba Femi explained that members of Grace Assembly contributed money to help him travel abroad in pursuit of his wrestling career.
“My entire church community came together to raise money for me to move to the USA 🇺🇸,” he added.
The WWE star’s story has since inspired many fans online, with several people praising the role his church played in supporting his journey to international success.
