Former bread seller-turned-model Olajumoke Orisaguna has debunked rumours suggesting she engages in substance abuse after a recent video of her sparked concern and online speculation.
The clip, which showed her singing a freestyle, circulated widely on social media, with some users claiming she appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Addressing the backlash, Olajumoke explained on Instagram that the video was purely for entertainment and not an indication of her lifestyle.
She said:
“I’m not happy about the comments I saw on my video. Some people were saying that I now smoke and drink alcohol. Why would anyone think that about me? It was just content. I know some people understood that, but it was only content.
“I don’t smoke or drink — I wasn’t raised that way. Please, I’m begging you all, don’t give me a reputation that isn’t mine. Even when I go to parties, and I’m offered a drink, I simply leave it on the table.
“Please understand, it was all just content. Even the song I was singing is not mine.”
Her clarification comes as she continues to address public misconceptions about her personal life following the viral video.
