Ruth Kadiri has written an open letter to President Ahmed Tinubu, calling for urgent action over the rising insecurity in the country following the killing of a teacher.

The actress expressed deep concern over what she described as the alarming rate of deaths across the nation, warning that innocent lives are increasingly being lost to violence and crime.

She stressed that the situation is no longer acceptable and urged the government to take decisive steps to protect citizens and restore safety.

“This is not propaganda. This is not your enemies trying to make you look bad. And even if they were, you can’t leave your house on fire,” she wrote.

“Dear President Tinubu, please do something, or give us the go-ahead to protect our lives and properties. Too much death everywhere. Being a Nigerian is not even safe at home anymore.

Too many innocent lives are paying for sins they know nothing about,” she added.
