Fuji stars Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika have earned Guinness World Records recognition after participating in the largest orchestra ever assembled for an Afrobeats concert.
Guinness World Records confirmed the achievement on Tuesday, stating that the record was set by Dapper Live & Artists during Trench Symphony: The Dapper Live Experience, held at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos on December 16, 2025.
The record-breaking performance featured 85 musicians performing together under the direction of a conductor, alongside a lead singer, choir and dancers.
In a post on X, Guinness World Records said the concert showcased how Afrobeats and orchestral music can seamlessly blend.
The event featured performances from T.I Blaze, Rybeena, Bhadboi OML, Kashcoming, TML Vibez, Lasmid, Heis Cazulee and Dwillsharmony, alongside Fuji legends Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika.
Before the official announcement, Dapper Live & Artists had revealed on Instagram that the performance had already been reviewed and verified by Guinness World Records, describing the concert as a unique fusion of Afrobeats, Fuji and orchestral music that aimed to make history.
