Sharelle Rosado, an American friend of Sophia Momodu, has spoken out in support of Sophia after Caroline Danjuma allegedly accused her of having an affair with her former partner.
Addressing the controversy, Sharelle revealed that she had never been comfortable with Caroline and had advised Sophia several times to be cautious around her.
She said it was particularly painful because Sophia had always shown Caroline kindness and respect despite her reservations.
Sharelle further described the allegation as baseless, stressing that Sophia has been in a committed relationship for a long time and was never involved in what she was being accused of.
“I always trusted my intuition when it came to this woman Carolyn. Every time she was around, my spirit told me something wasn’t right. I even told Sophie more than once to be careful with her.
“What’s even sadder is that Sophie is someone who has always been kind to her. As a woman, grow up and address whatever issue you have directly instead of trying to use another woman to chase clout. We all know who you were trying to accuse falsely when you mentioned her ‘American Friends’….Sophie has been in the same committed relationship for a while now, so for someone to suddenly wake up and make such a serious, false accusation is disturbing.
“Jealousy and bitterness can lead people to make terrible decisions, but falsely accusing someone is a line that should never be crossed. If you have something to say, say it with your chest and speak the truth, not for attention!”
