Big Brother Naija Level Up winner Phyna has weighed in on the controversy surrounding fellow reality star Ilebaye Odiniya after reports of alleged domestic violence involving her father surfaced online.
The drama began after Ilebaye went live on Instagram in a distressing state, crying out for help while alleging she had been physically assaulted. In the emotional video, she called on Nigerians to intervene, with visible injuries reportedly noticed on her face, sparking widespread concern across social media.
Responding during a separate Instagram Live session, Phyna cautioned netizens against attacking or insulting Ilebaye’s family, stressing that the matter is a private one.
She described the situation as a family issue and urged people to be more careful with their words online, especially towards the reality star’s father, who has been linked to the incident.
Phyna also claimed that many people were unaware of the efforts made behind the scenes to secure Ilebaye’s safety, adding that she personally ensured her colleague was taken out of the situation.
She reassured fans that Ilebaye is safe and currently receiving support.
