Popular music video director TG Omori has reacted strongly after an X influencer mocked his kidney transplant struggle during an online exchange.
The incident began after TG Omori posted a motivational message on X, writing: “I got a thousand lives in me to live.”
The statement immediately drew attention, partly because the filmmaker has previously revealed his serious health battle and how his only brother donated a kidney to save his life during a transplant procedure.
An X influencer then responded to the post with a mocking remark, asking: “With another person’s kidney?”
The comment sparked backlash online, with many users criticizing the insensitivity of bringing up TG Omori’s near-death experience in a derogatory way.
Reacting to the remark, TG Omori condemned the influencer’s attitude and warned against joking about someone’s life-threatening medical journey.
“Life is deeper than using someone’s near death pain to mock them, you will learn life with this one. Hold on tight to what ever you believe in. God be with you,” he wrote.
TG Omori had earlier opened up about his kidney failure in 2024, revealing that his brother donated one of his kidneys in an attempt to save his life. He later disclosed that the transplant process was unsuccessful and continued to ask for prayers from fans during his recovery journey.
